need some help ASAP!! SS clutch lines?

Are there any companies that make stainless steel braided clutch lines for the lancer? I think one of my lines blew out and now I need to get a replacement, might as well upgrade....

Thanks!

Could always make your own. How do you think the clutch line blew?...should be pretty obvious if it did.

hard to tell, it was driving fine all day, then i get back in it to go home, push the clutch in, and it just drops. look under car, puddle of clutch fluid, but its directly under the tranny, not where the hard line goes into the tranny in front, so i dont know. felt around the line from the firewall, down the first soft line, all the way down the hard line, no wetness. couldnt see any wetness anywhere, but i havent jacked up the car yet. apparently we have an internal slave cylinder though?

You may just be leaking. Have you done clutch work fairly recently? Start cheap and easy...look for loose fittings before you look to replace parts.

Any extra parts when you finished installing it?

It could be that the cylinder burst. Or even might be a seal. No way to tell exactly until u jack the car up and check.

yeah a friend and i jacked the car up and looked and he saw fluid dripping from a small hole at the bottom of the tranny, so we determined that the slave cylinder is in fact internal and that it has burst or a seal went bad or something. next week we are removing the tranny and inspecting further.

If it is a seal I might be able to help u as my company manufactures seals and cylinders. Will just need measurements to check if we have any seals that fit. Otherwise no slave cylinder developed yet.
