Transmission not shifting until redline

Transmission not shifting until redline
Hey everyone!
First post here, I have a 2002 Lancer ES. Just recently my transmission has been shifting weird. It won’t shift unless you redline it through all gears. If I disconnect the battery over night it fixes it for about 20 minutes. If I pull over when it starts doing it, put the car in park, turn it off and wait a minute that will fix it temporarily too.
My first thought is the transmission control module. I for whatever reason can not find the TCM so want to get y’all’s input on where the TCM is and what else it could be?
