I just installed racing harnesses in my OZ and I was wondering if someone knows how to get the damn seat belt light to shut off.

 

Fasten your seat belt!
the light will shut off after that!

 

jam a paper clip or some kind of small metallic object into the origional seat belt buckle. this will make it seem like there is a seat belt in there...shutting off the light

 

Or just take the light bulb off....

 

or disconnect the thing that makes it turn on. it is under your seat all you have to do is disconnect it

nah, i cant read at all i cant spell either...
but what i ment was if you actually put the old seatbelt into the latch that you would normally go into, with out the actual seat "belt" that would look cool and get your light off... i have seen this on a few diffrent cars...i guess i wasent all togther clear.

 

disconnect the plug that goes in to the latch and unscrew the latch to clean it up.. i hate seein racing seats with regular lap belt latches..
