the install is pretty strait foward.. you'll probably just need a flat head screw driver (for the hose clamp) and a metric socket set.. just follow the instructions and you should be all set. Its a great intake.. i love mine! Sounds really nice Good luck and enjoy! and make sure to ask us any questions you have!

dont forget to let your car idle for 10-15 min after the install to give the ECU time to adjust

Also, you're going to want to have a set of vise-grips on hand in case the plastic retainers in the stock airbox crack or wear away. The retention bolts are proprietary and will spin the plastic away inside the box.

Since the retention bolts are round (go Mitsu) no socket I could find can fit around the head and still hold tightly. Vice-grips are a must before yuo even try.

You might not even need them, but I'd rather be safe than sorry, driving around with half and airbox.

Good luck to you!

stock airbox is held in place by 2 or 3 bolts I can't remember, but that's about it (once you get started you will see how easy it is). the most difficult part of install is removing the MAS adapter from the factory box. like they have said the plastic that's used to hold the bolts while you loosen the nuts is not sufficient (I was lucky and only had a problem with one the bolts). good luck. There is probably a how-to with pics if you do a search.
