ya your insurance company, "should they be the caring type" should get involved. They ask as the stick. Because techinically, if something is wrong with the car and you can prove it with your visits, then the car is really theres.

if you get into an accident because of it. They will hold it to Mitsu.

To be honest with you , it depends on how you handle this. play your cards right. document everything.

let me know how it goes

UPDATE: Instead of making a decision, they send a corporate guy to drive my car and he says its fine. This is after service just told me there is a field engineer looking at one with the same issue as mine and they would get back to me when there is a fix. So service says its f'd up, but corporate guy comes down and everything is fine????? Sick and tired of this sh*t. I have been told one thing, pulled another, etc. Sad thing is, we took a brand new one off the lot to compare, the brand new one was horrible, lmao. And the corporate guy says if you had just bought this one, you would have a issue for sure and this one will be addressed. I said to him, well of course mine isn't like this anymore, mine has had 4 different occasions where alignment has been adjusted, tires rotated, rims moved around, you name it. So of course mine should show some improvement for the time being until more wear and tear gets on the current set up and it goes downhill again.

I think we should start a petition on this thing and get several GTS owners that have this problem together and get it resolved. I can even contact my local news and they will put it on the air......trust me, my aunt had a complaint on a totally different issue, not even as major as this one, and the news was all over it and next thing you know, the other party kindly backed out of what they were trying to do. Because I'm done with this back and forth and now all of the sudden its fixed?????? just because corporate guy says so????? bs.

1st, assuming you have an insurance company that cares, contact them and let them know you have potentially hazardous car handling issues. If they do car they will check it out under the guise of a comprehensive claim, if you can prove the problem to your Insurance, after Mitsubishi signs off on it, then you actually have grounds to take them to court.

This sounds to good to be true ? well yes it is, you have to be able to show your insurance company the serious issues of a car pulling to the left and so on, this goes for anyone who has major problems with your car.

Further more , you must get mitsu to offically put it in writing that they are closing this case and they do not see a problem, that you told them on such and such dates. should something happen to your car in the future this willcome back to haunt them. Legally, but you must be able to prove that this is the same issue. hense why you must document it. ALOT. make it seem over kill if you have to. CC the info to your insurance company too. you just need to make sure you have serious enough concerns. again legally it helps you.

Odd sounds and stuff well if your car farts or revs alittle high, well thats not a problem. but if it does things that endanger your driving then you have an issue.

I will go on but right now i gotta go to mitsu for an appointment

Well I'm waiting to see what my insurance company says. Not sure if they will help, they seemed to think it wouldn't be a option. I have documented every visit, every conversation I've had with the dates written down. I also have on the last work order where it shows the District Parts Manager feels there is no problem with the car currently. Its funny he thinks that when the time before it was in there it had a known issue that a field engineer was looking at to resolve and they would let me know. So its like I said.......basically there was a problem, but when he drove it, there wasn't, like the car fixed itself. Trust me, I'm not done with this by any means and I have contacted my local news also.....they are the type that will love to broadcast this all over the place. I'll be starting a thread to see how many people has had the problem on here and what their outcome has been. Then I will take those numbers and results to the media and go from there. I'm not playing with it anymore and my right as a american is to fight back against businesses as big as these that think they can walk all over people and just get them to drop it.
