however i should mention that they put on my new tires today and it does feel better but it still veers to the left, not hard and at least I'm not fighting the steering wheel anymore. so i guess with tires off the list i guess I'm back to the drawing board.

i have no idea if its a tsb. i know the service guy had to call a rep of some sorts to get info cuz he knew nothing of the warranty transfer.
it was earlier in the week. the guy who was handling my claim is on vacation. ill try calling dunlop, and ask about my reference number to my claim. but your saying i should tell mitsubishi that dunlop/goodyear looked at my tires and said its a radial pull?

no, like a local tire shop or something, say it was a visual inspection and the guy said that was most likely the case.

no i actually did go to a tire shop, it was an official goodyear/dunlop dealer that dunlop told me to go to. the guy looked at my tires and could tell they were bad, and worn out uneven, but i have no idea what he told to dunlop when he called them...

EDIT: i also work for a tire warehouse, been working there for 4 years, we also have a shop that does all major repairs, my manager was the one who noticed my tires were bad, just by looking at them

Have any of the 09 owners experienced the pull?

hey guess what!!! goodyear/dunlop has agreed to replace my tires because of the bad wear at 4400 miles, the only thing is, i have to get a goodyear or dunlop tire, but there isnt much choice in a 215/45r18 at the same price range, so does anyone know if it will be ok to switch to a 225/40r18? theres a lot more choices to go with in that size. plus its a more common size.

Perhaps we should look at more than just the alignment as the culprit.

My 09 gts is showing the same problem and the dealer here is trying to point to the suspension as the culprit. Says that when the cars are making their trip, they are strapped down on the left side, which may result in a compressed spring on that side....

I have an 09 GTS. I notice an occasional tendency to wander to the left more than the right, but its very mild. I can let go of the steering wheel and not touch it for 15-20 seconds and have only mildly began to turn. I'm assuming that's because the 80/20 power different between the wheels and uneven roads.

If i get more if an issue, I'll let you know.

and P.S. 1 month old car, 5300km's mostly highway. Doing oil change today as I'm driving 1000km+ this weekend and rotating tires myself on Saturday.

hey Guys, fyi, I bought my 08 GTS with Dunlop in March 2008. My car has been pulling to the left even after a tire rotation and alignment. I talked to mitsubishi many times and even called to head office to complain.

But finally they find out that some batches of the Dunlop tires were defective. Apparently, they say that the molds used to make the tires were defective. I'm going to get new set of tires this Sat, its the same tires(Dunlop) thou. Hopefully this will fix the alignment issue.

Keep you guys posted.

Can you post what number to call to complain about this issue and get replacement tires? I have just above 13k on my tires, and one of it is already almost bald, and the arrogant service dept manager keeps telling me they can't do anything about the car pulling left or right, they say it's normal drift?

Hey, I'm from Ontario Canada. I called the Mits headerquarters in Ontario Canada and filed ad complaint. So i dont think that number will help you out. You have to call the headquarter number in your state. I also talked to the General Manager and complaint to him about it. Hes the one that ultimately put pressure into looking the issue.

From what I have heard, Mits knows about this problem in North American, so it should be no surprised to ppl in Mits. The fact thar your dept manager say that, means he just doesnt want to help you out.

If thats what the service dept manager said, then you have to talk to someone higher up. You have to talk to his manager or whoever, cause they cant call the shots. You have to keep on calling them and complaint.

I'll let you guys know once I get my tires this sat.

ok guys, so I finally got new tires on Sat. They replaced my old Dunlop with new ones but of the same model. I can say that the ride is definitely improved. It feels like its actually going straight.

So if you guys have this issue even after an alignment and tire rotation. I strongly suggest talking to your dealership about getting new tires that are NOT defective.
