ummm unbolt the old manifold from the head, then the lower pipe and remove. Remove anything else in the way, torque down from the center out on the new header.

I just installed mine on Sunday and when i lined everything up, it pulled the pipe under the car over against the heat shield. Now I have this horrible rattling sound while the car is in idle. Just curious if anyone else got this or might have a suggestion for a fix.

sounds like it got bent during shipping. either get a new one or just bend the heat shield out of the way a bit so it doesn't rattle.
