Loose Throttle body cord
Any body look under their hood and noticed that the steel braided cord connected to the throttle body is a little loose??
Is their any way to correct this to improve response and maybe more air flow? Hopefully someone else has seen this becasue i think it is a potential power sucker.

start the car, loosen the two 10mm bolts on the plate connecting the throttle cable to the intake manifold, push it slowly to the passenger side of the car, untill the engine makes a change in RPM, you still want the car to idle right so loosen it a little and tighten the two 10mm bolts
congrats you have just gotten rid of the free play on your gas pedal

Also be careful with your chord tightening. Make sure your chord remains properly lubricated or it will interfere with the throttle return to idle speed. After a lot of tweaking I managed to get the idle to properly settle at around 1000RPM, which is just about the first change you'll notice in throttle when you play with it.
I noticed a response improvement from a dead stop launch. That is if you were to launch the car from IDLE speed. Normally I noticed a bog down before acceleration, once I tightened the chord and raised IDLE launch acceleration is much more fluent.
