CEL after unpluggin MAF sensor

Hey, I just wanted to see if its normal for the CEL to come on after I unhooked the MAF sensor while the key was in the ignition then plugged the MAF back in? Has this happened to anyone else and will the CEL go off? Thanks

Was the engine running when you did that? If it was, I had the same thing happen. I just unplugged my battery for a few minutes, and no more CEL.
