This morning, I noticed that my daw gawn battery and e brake light were on when neither the battery was low or the e brake was engaged. It tends to dim when the gas pedal is pushed and sometimes "goes with the music." It also becomes brighter, sometimes, at higher RPMs. Someone help me please.

I saw a thread that was something like this about a month ago, but I couldnt find it.

May be of interest. I don't think there is a diagnosis yet though.

 

i had that problem and it got progressively worse till the car barely started! Solution: check the main fuse on the battery its probably shot and pretty soon ur battery wont charge anymore. Do it SOON cuz if thats the problem, u wont even b able 2 get it started after a few days. If that is it, u hav 2 go 2 ur dealer to get a new one.

 

my battery, shot!? ive had this car since mid august and thats a possibility? dang.

 

not the battery, just the main fuse, and ya iv only had mine since june n this just happened this week but its cuz wen my friend put my intake in he was ****in around wit the battery n 'zapped' something. Its not a difficult thing 2 replace n its covered by the warrenty jus take it to the dealer. Who knos mayb u hav a different prob?

 

i went to my dealership to check it out, and on the way, my cd player started going out, and when i parked in front, they told me to move it to the service dept., so i got in and turned the key, and theres this winding noise. it was..fun.

it turns out my alternator blew and they have to order a new one, it will be here on tuesday and for now i have an ugly beige ES..

 

okay what if just my ebrake light is on and nothing else
the ebrake light doesn't tell u anything else does it????

i have no aftermarket subs or anything like that installed
