but even if turbo will pass the emissions test wouldn't it fail because of the visual, it doesn't have a carb sticker? thats what somebody at a local speed shop was saying about most of the turbo kits for sale

 

your right no matter how clean the car runs after the kit it wiil not pass the look check no matter how clean stupid laws

I think just Cali, Illinois does smog testing but dont really check your engine.

What is the status on this header? Also, can a hold be drilled anywhere for the first o2 sensor or will it be strictly a mil eliminator?

 

If you put the 02 sensor there it will still trigger the CEL because both sensors will be getting the same reading. It will probably take a little time with the ECU trying to figure out what's going on before it triggers the CEL though. This goes for every header made right now.

Hey Rob, no update to the RRM site about the header? What can you tell us right now? Any real numbers--hp gains or what not? PRICE? Are these questions that have to wait until tomorrow when the phone lines are open?

id really like 2 know the proven gains for a na engine with that or even with just intake exaust and header 2 know the whp
