Sounds like to much work.
Just do what "P" said. Put the heatshield back on and hope they don't notice. I'm lucky so far over here on my end. The cops don't pop your hood YET when you get pulled over. Hopefully it stays that way.

hah. well i think i pist off this cop because me and my friends played cat and mouse, and then when he pulled us over. my friend got out of the car and started yelling at the cop. i guess its lucky we didn't get arrested or shot, which seems the way la cops go for first.

so rock your header gains power all the way through the powerband but the kamikazi only really gains in the top end, do you think the kamakazi gains more in the top end than yours, also what rpm do you think yours kicks in at and what rpm do you think the kamikazi kicked in at? thanks

I think my post there is in order again. There's no way to even truly guess the numbers until you actually have the car measured in some way shape or form. Argh.

First off no dyno sheet but my opinion having driven both.

I THINK ours has a more linear powerband than KAMAKAZI. Kamakazi prolly has more power above 5000 rpm than ours but that is because it is built to do that. Our has more power below 5000. It is all in how you design it!

what kind of differences would you make to adjust what part of the power band the header effects? ya know what i mean? like what's the difference between your header and the kamikaze one? those slight bends before the o2 sensor? pipe diameter? pipe length?

Mostly pipe length and diameters are different.

I killed my second cat, and the resonator too. This may be pretty loud, might it not? Because I'm seriously considering this before getting cams. 15 HP estimated at the wheels or at the crank? And also, will the linear powerband extend into the higher gears of the car? Low-end refers to low RPM's right? so basically the header will be effective below 5000 RPM's in all gears, yes?

Hey moderators, think you should clone this thread to the Engine Tech section? May rear more heads and opinions as well as spur some more RRM support and awareness.

Get another load of headers tomorrow. After filling orders, should have about 4 left.

Can we backup a couple of posts here?
You guys mention the cops popping hoods and such hoo haa...
What does it matter if you have headers on your car as long as you're not over the DB limit? And Sure some of them may look to see if you have any cats if your machine is loud, But why would a cop want to look under your hood and then give you a ticket for having shiny headers
