GTO has a better interior than the Z06.

Yah.... Guess it depends on what you want from a car? Save up and get the new Z06 when it comes out. :P The interior is much nicer and so is 500Hp. But the price is getting up there.

Depends on what you want and what you like. If your looking for a good drag car/muscle car that's comfy, handles well (even better with upgraded rims and tires.) and with a few mods you'll get over 420+ hp , get the goat. If you want a razor sharp no compromise missile ...stay with the Evo. Heck if you got the money have both. GTO daily driver, Evo the track car.

Sticking with my Evo.

Drove an 05 GTO. I have to say it's a great car. To heavy, Out of a dig it's a real pig. From a roll, it really pulls!! Car has a real nice relaxing ride on the prkwy. Not as harsh as an Evo. But we all know why the Evo has a harsh ride. O well the GTO is not for me.

So i'm keeping the Evo for a few more years. By than I will have enough saved for an 03/04 Porsche Turbo. AWD of course

Good call, I felt the same way. Every time I drive the Evo I feel inspired (to drive more). The GTO didn't elicit the same response.

imo GTO is just sooooo damn bland looking . even the '05 doesn't really stand out. now the '98+ WS6 with the LS1 is sucha bad *** sexy car. every time i see a black one with those split nostrils i cream my pants . i've seen gto's on the street and in parking lots and they don't really grab my attention. i wish pontiac would've upgraded the WS6 to independent rear or something, instead they killed it off . i always loved that car, wanted to buy one but then evo and sti came over the border. i haven't driven the gto, but i'm guessing it's pretty friggin fast and doesn't handle too shabby. evo is just a completely different car. my guess would be for you wanting the gto is that you wanna go faster when there's straight flat road ahead. evo is for the twisties, so it's kinda meaningless to compare. maybe you just didn't get to drive the evo on the roads it was meant for, so you don't feel like it's all that fun. i've had mine for only 3800 miles and every time i go into a tight exit ramp at speed, i get a wide eyed look on my face just from the connection i feel with the road through the steering, it's so stupendously amazing!

And this opinion is based upon...what exactly??? Do you happen to know who owns vauxhall and holden?

Fair enough. I just get annoyed with people who knock GM just because it's GM.

No problem, I just get a little defensive. 3 generations of my family have worked for GM, it runs in the blood. But it sure doesn't mean that GM walks on water, and I sure can't argue with someone who's had a bad experience with one.
