Both of those sound like awesome projects. I have wanted a 510 for the longest time, I am a Nissan guy at heart and miss my old SE-R badly.

Top Secret Gold would be pretty cool, my Volks are that color

Nice!!!!! I'm a Nissan guy and I've always liked the 510 and 240z.... I've drooled over both having seen them with SR swaps. Here's a dyno of a S13 redtop with GT2871 at 20psi done a couple weeks ago (not mine unfortunately).

I HIGHLY recommend getting a set of cams, you'll gain anywhere between 25-40whp for the same peak boost pressure.

ENGINE:
-Bone Stock Bottom end S13 Silvia 'Red Top' engine. I tore it all down, and reassembled it just to ensure nothing was wrong with the engine. Very clean, with miles, but not alot.
-JWT S3 Cams
-JWT ECU
-JWT Popcharger
-Ford Cobra MAF
-Mototron 60lb fuel Injectors
-Custom Steel top feed fuel rail
-Stock OEM Cast Iron Exhaust Manifold (Extrude Honed, and Swained)
-Garrett GT2871r .64 (Extruded Turbine housing)
-Greddy 3" o2/J Pipe/Turbout outlet
-Greddy RSPL Intercooler Kit
-Greddy Intake Manifold (real deal)
-Greddy Oil Pan
-Greddy Catch Can
-Greddy Type S BOV
-Greddy Profec Type S Electronic Boost Controller
-Greddy Rocker Arm Stoppers
-Enjuku Racing Hotpipe
-My own custom turbo intake
-Offensive Power Slim Battery (AKA Braille)
-RS*R ExMag 3" Exhaust (the quiet one with the chambered muffler)
-MR Downpipe with a flex section welded in (Thanks Emil's Weld Shop)
-Koyo Alum. Radiator
-Nissan Altima Dual Fans (eat your heart out Fal/Spal...these own!)
-Cometic MLS headgasket
-ARP head studs
-Walbro 255 HP pump
-New OEM Waterpump and most new OEM seals
-UR Underdrive Pulley
-TAKA GT series turbo feed lines (oil and water)
-Nismo FPR
- OEM Z32 Fuel Filter
- OEM Z32 Rad. Cap
-Phase 2 Motortrend Engine Dampner
-Nismo Engine mounts
-Nismo Trans Mount

thanks spdracerut!!! My goal is 350-400WHP with this black top..and by your dyno sheets..I have hope that it is possible. I guess there is a 15hp diff between the blacktop and red? I am no nissan guy..and just started getting into this build. Here is whats going on my motor..please let me know if my hp goal is achieveable, around what boost pressure and if there will be any major strain on the engine components at thatPSI.;
s13 blacktop (30k miles)
sard fuel rail, FPR,BOV,850cc injectors
Greddy oilpan,intake manifold,1.2MM head gasket
Garret GT30r..custom downpipe, custom 3" back(no cat or resonators)
Enjuku racing t3/t4 log manifold
tial 38mm WG
arp studs
fmic, custom dual core radiator
removed power steering and a/c
UR crank pully(will this dmage my engine because I have heard it does not have a balencer on it to take away from crank vibrations?)

Last I am deciding on cams and ems... I like the tomei cams(any input on these?? which duration would be best suited for my motor?) and for ems I am thinking of just a tune for now and later when its all running switch over to apexi power FC or something similar. Thanks for the info!!

^ yes it is silverstone z(i think..its the darker grey). The daytona blue is nice..but I want a color a little more lighter shade. Top secret gold is just too much I think...Ill prob go with infinity blue. Keep it in the nissan family haha.
engine off hoise and onthe ground..test fitting and assembling;

BTW valve cover will be powdercoated gold soon.

ALSO--
DOes anyone know if I can "ROTATE" my turbo? By this i mean the outlet is goiing off to the side(as u can see in the pic)...I want to rotate it "downwards" (6 o'clock) so the outlet can go straight down to the FMIC. this possible? Thanks!

Thanks for the info, I sent datsport an e-mail and hopefully they can get back to me with some confirmation on the interchange, if it is I'm going to order the parts this week. I want to commit to the setup by getting the swap parts, then I'll find a front cut.

Check out the AEM EMS also, I'm reluctant to use anything that you have to hire a tuner just to access so I typically stay away from those types of EM systems. Not sure how much is known or what can be done with the stock ECU and if they have the type of tools for it that we do. But I think Jim Wolf is the guy to contact if you want to use an OE ECU.

yeah If its a garrett turbo, you have to loosen the compressor cover and then you should be able to rotate it. I don't think its indexed like the Evo 16G...

Oh if the compressor cover bolts on, you can clock it by rotating the cover and putting the bolts back in..

Thanks malibujack..The back has about 6-7 bolts all around it...you are saying i loosen those and turn the compressor cover? eeee dont wannamess anyhting up. ALSo...if your thinking about an SR swap and datsport has the mounts available heres a awesome place that will convert your SR wire harness so you only need 4 wires to hook up(+12, IGN, START and FUEL PUMP) pretty good deal for only $250(they rewire it will all new FP,COIL relays etc.;

SWEET.. Thats exactly what I'm looking for! Have to save that link!!

And yeah, take a look at your cover, some will be able to be clocked by loosening the bolts and just rotating the cover, others you'll have to remove the bolts completely and rotate the cover until it indexes into the holes again on the backplate.. But don't sweat it too badly, its not as bad as it sounds..

Malibujack-
Yup thanks for the info..I took out SIX bolts from the back...turned the housing to where I needed it and put the bolts back in! Pretty simple. I was searchign for wiring services and came across PLMdevelopment...looks very nice and very simple. Other shops quoted me $500+ for the wiring service.
