Subaru is paying tribute to the late Richard Burns, 2001's World Rally Champion, by offering a special-edition Impreza in his honor. The RB320 STi's name is derived from Richard's initials and the power output of the car's engine. All the Richard Burns editions receive the Prodrive Performance Pack, which in addition to delivering the 320 horses, includes an uprated suspension that puts the Subie 30mm closer to the ground. Enhancing the car's dropped appearance are a lip spoiler and and exclusive wheels which, along with the rest of the bodywork, are coated in Obsidian black paint. Slick-looking mesh grille inserts contrast the Vader-like finish nicely, and RB320 badging announces the car's limited nature to bystanders and other drivers

Yeah it wouldnt make sense for SOA to give us something special...oh wait we got a LTD STi, OMG sunroof, leather,,,blah.

 

I definitely like all black theme of the car.
Not bad at all.
The front end treatment actually makes the 06 subi look half decent.

 

Richard Burns is dead? Sorry, I didnt even know that!!??....I LOVE rally racing especially WRC. I was totally unaware of this. What happened???

WoW! right around the time I was in Basic Training for the Air Force. No wonder.... He was the MAN!!! unfortunate for the guy. RIP Richard Burns.

 

THATS the STi they SHOULD be selling here...
But yes, the exterior goodies does indeed sharpen up its appearance...*thumbs up*

Edit: I just recalled an episode of Top Gear paying homage to Richard...thought that was a great episode...RIP
