How is the horsepower capabilities?.

I was thinking of putting Intake, Headers back exhaust, cams, tune ...
How do think it will do compare to a 300 awhp evo?.

and may be later on . i was thinking of a twin turbo setup. (4,000).

Also , Can you do anything to make it lighter?. Because I want it to be really really light.

The most restrictive part of the exhaust on the ls1 fbods is the ypipe.. its like 2 1/4 on one side and flat as a pancake on the other side. so if you get one get that stock y pipe out asap.
As for weight reduction.. same crap as most cars.. remove seats and excess crap yuo dont need.
most of the cars panels are plastic tho.. fenders, door skins, qtr panels(at least on the verts).

you cant really compare a rwd muscle car and a awd turbo.. two totally different beasts..
but my fastest run stock was 12.9 at 115, majority of the time you'll be in the 13.2 - 13.0 range. so theyre pretty good stock.
with a full exhaust and intake you should be able to run in the mid-high 12's all day long

Ok, I did some more reseach but there aren't really big forums about camaros?.
Do you have any forums that you go to for camaros?.
How about size of the tires?. What's the largest you can fit without having to roll the fenders?. 330?

My friend told me that if you lower the car on a muscle car, You are a ricer?... WTH?..
I was thinking of lowering it about 1' or 1'1/2.

Also I was thinking of retuning the car once I got the intake in there. What kind of tuning do you sugggest?. From what company does the flash like the evos?..

This is one of the things that I am going to miss is that there aren't too many upgrades/options available on these cars compare to the evos. Or am I just not knowing where to look?.

12.9 at 115 sounds a WEE bit fast for stock...you sure you didn't mean 105?

That car is WAY overpriced. OMG WAY overpriced. You look up the book value of the car and try to tell me different. Good luck with that

Yes , I looked it up. It says 11,999. and that's in exellent condition.
The dealer is selling it for 12,999. It's 1000 difference.
Do you think the dealer will lower it?

www.z28.com? Um NO!

www.ls1tech.com.

The dealer better lower it or peace out, there not easy cars to sell either.

A cammed LS1 with long tube headers, exhaust, ls6 intake with a tune, slicks you are talking a low 12 second to high 11 second car. VS a 300whp EVO? The EVO doesn't stand a chance, sorry.

Ok there are some blanks to fill in, if you are going to make that kind of power and the car is an automatic you will need a shift kit and a stall converter or find yourself rebuilding the transmission, it will hit so hard in the floor under WOT you will feel like you broke your drive shaft, the A4 (automatic) is far weaker than the M6 transmission however the M6 transmission is so strong that without a modified rear end you can in fact blow it out under that kind of power. A built rear end will run you need I say TWO SOUSAND DOLLHAIRS!

For autocross you want 17x11 inch wheels and 315 35 17 tires at all 4 corners.

Actually It is a six speed.
For the rear end, I can just get a 12 bolt.

Thank you for the autocross tires. I am going to start looking around for tires.
Because I think getting traction is my main goal.

My car is a 2004. I bought it when it had around 7,000 miles on it.

Ok, I just called the dealer and I mentioned to them that the actual kbb value on the car is 11,999. Also that is in excellent condition.

He said that since he is giving me 23,000 for the car.
My evo has 28k miles.
and it's a 2004.

And he will not lower the price. He said that the figures that he gave me are the figures.

So what do you guys think I should do?.

Because If i were to sell the car to him. He is giving me 22,500. For the car.

But If i were to get the car from him also, He will give me 23,000 for the car.

What do you guys think I should do?.
Should I just sell the car to him?.
And look else where ?. Or I should keep the deal?

Thank you guys, Any opinions are welcome.
