Ah yes, cargo space. That is a definite advantage. Again however, Id say 90% of the people looking to buy a car like this, could care completely less about cargo space. Therefore, to a lot of people, because its ugly to most, buying the hatch would seem pointless.

 

Ugly because most people have been brought up to believe that coupes are fast and sexy, but sedans and wagons are slow and unattractive.

As an Evo owner you should already know this about the uninformed public.

Brought up to believe it? Um, I dunno about that one. Some coupes that are out right now are ugly. Some are sexy though. One thing is for sure, most of the American public thinks hatchbacks are ugly. You know why? Not because their parents and friends told them they are. Its because they are.

A grossly overweight female will be considered ugly by most.

If youre ugly, you dont have to be fat. However, if youre fat, your body is most likely ugly. So yeah, they have a lot to do with each other.
