After reading your post I think the Vett might make more sense. It sounds more like what you are looking for. A Vette will get the Nice car nod from more people in general. Plus like someone above said keep the Honda for the crappy weather and Vette for nice weather.

You obviously want the evo. Why else would you ask us? You know what were gonna say.

While the poll shows the Evo more I think there's at least a pretty balanced response of him getting the Evo or the 'Vette.

I for one, in short, agree that since you have the Accord for daily/bad weather, get the Vette. If I had been able to keep the Evo or had something else to daily drive (or could afford something else) there was an '06 C6 red that was beautiful and had like 7k miles on it for 39,995 back in July-August, I would've gotten that in a heartbeat... But days like today I'd be stuck at home or be driving one of my family's cars which they need or will need in the near future.

Again, I've never driven as old of a vette as you're talking about, so I dunno the Evo is a wonderful machine...

I love it when people compare full bolt on cars with stock cars

...and a full bolt-on c5 would beat A LOT of things, including 99% of Evos

vettes are some of the best all around performers in the world (well, at least z06's are).

even c5-z06's handle with the best of them (you guys can keep comparing small tight parking lot courses or wet tracks, to justify it)

tell me how many other stock cars can hit 12.1@118mph ('04 z06), and hang with the best of them in the turns?

and we obviously know the c6-z06 destroys pretty much most cars on the road

Just for sake of arguement, even if you have c5 with 600whp how are you gonna hook it up to the road easily?
I've raced a lot of Evos, and rarely was impressed...what's your point?

for every fast Evo, there's about 100 faster z06's
