Evo X or Evo 8....

I have had both this cars brand new now the owners are selling them back the evo8 is a jdm model has 362whp i myself modded it sold it with 23,400miles it now has 25,000miles it has been garage kept it still looks brand new, now the evo x is an mr model i also bought it new sold with 11,000miles it now has 15,000miles the thing is that the evo x is much more money for me right now but i could still buy it as for the evo 8 i could buy cause its a lot cheaper,i really miss the evos,if i dont buy neither of them maybe next year by mid november i would buy a new evox gsr but thats still almost a year from now.
Had both and i loved the rawness of the evo8 and how fast it was, know the evox mr was nice for dailydriving but lacked that rush of speed.
Which one would you buy or would you wait a whole year for a new evox gsr?

thanks guys

Well something that i dont like is that the gearbox on the evox you cant repair it if something wrong happens to it, the evo x was a good daily driver in comparison to the 8 but iam the type of guy that loves fast cars and something in the evox wansnt right it was to civil compared to the 8.

your 8 will hold value a lot better at this point because it's older.

Really? Private party value for a 2003 8 is about 12k and trade in value is like 10K. I don't consider that holding good value at all.

no...

re-purchase the evo8. awesome mileage for the year and you won't feel bad about modding it since you spent less on the actual car than the x.

i think the older evos will hold more value, theres more demand and there starting to get more RARE, younger kids that CANT drive and get them as there first car crash them all the time (yes im 19 but not stupid)

wow you obviously don't know a whole lot about buying/selling cars. In the first 5 years the vehicle will depreciate the most. Thanks for playing though

I would think the MR would hold its value better with all of the extra features. I like the VIII better tho...i just got one myself, same color too :-)

The MR can better handle a beating i think...but if you don't plan on racing it then i think that 8's and 9's are more fun to drive
