as I read through all the post on this thread I realized that the grass is not always greener on the other side and that there are Evo owners out there that find the STI an attractive car... even the new 08 Hatch. Owning an 07 and having done quite a bit of exterior modifications, I would have to say that the 08s have definitely grown on me. I have recently found myself looking at possibly selling my 07 STI and buying an 08 or 09 Evo X. Although I do love the look of the IXs, especially with some nice aggressive wheels(Advans or low offset Volks!). I am waiting to see how the new MRs turn out as far as reliability goes but I am also keeping my eye out for a 2010 STI as Subaru goes through a slight face redesign every 2 years. I think both cars are awesome and will never bash one or the other as I know if money was not an issue I would have both of them. Time will tell what I end up with in the next 2 years but for now I will keep my 07 STI and drool over some Evos here on the forum.
