i have another car, but my girlfriend is driving it. i just switched jobs, trying to fix up and sell a house to sell it (a flip), so there wasn't much extra money to buy another car even if i could have found one. i did look for a cheap beater to drive back and forth, but there weren't any beaters at good prices. besides, i love driving the EVO and if the motor ever gives up, i can always rebuild or get another one. with all the aftermarket support and tuner shop support, any EVO can run forever lol
im on 55k and bought mine with 10k on it two years ago needless to say i drove from kentucky to maine twice and then from kentucky to washington and she's still running strong.
Cars are meant to be driven. Look at Jay Leno man. He has ridiculously expensive cars, some incredibly incredibly rare, but he still drives them. Most of the miles I have put on my car have been since last April (2007). I put 60k on it since then. Before that, I only put 46k on it in 3 years. That's why I just moved 15 minutes away from work.
