damn... i bought mine brand new in jan 06 and i have close to 9k miles on it. getting close to the 5 digits is already starting to make me tear. i would probably kill myself if i hit the 6 digits . i feel a lot better after reading your lost
it's good to know the evo can last that long without any major problems

i see you have the stage 1 as well...have you ever had any lockout issues with it? did you have to adjust your clutch pedal?

That is some incredible stuff. I don't think i have the power not to launch a couple of times a year . If you've never launched it, you have incredible will power.

i can't count how many launches i've done. i don't really think about stuff like that to tell you the truth. i just drive the car the way i want to drive it, and make sure i do all the necessary maintenance work. fluid flushes, brakes, tires, etc, and everything should be okay. it also helps that i know how to drive. i still think that 80% or more of the problems people have with EVO's is just driver error. especially the clutch issue. my stocker laster 70k with plenty of learning to launch, launching, dragging, autocrossing, and driving the **** out of it, but others can only manage to get 10k out of a clutch? yeah right. there's nothing wrong with that clutch. the car just needs a driver mod.

haha yeah, i tried not to think about it because i don't like to see a grown man cry. it was somewhere in the neighborhood of 700-800 a month while i was driving back and forth. right at 102k now. it's good to not be driving back and forth everyday anymore.
