Possible updated master cylinder too.
I actually really enjoyed the Golf R but long story short is that I wanted to get back into something I knew, is more supported tuning wise and the lease deal(s) where too hard to pass up.
That said, I forgot how unrefined and cheap feeling the Evo is... I'm sure I'll get used to it...
Want to buy my Golf R?

I guess my search for the holy grail, a stock evo 9 mr in GGP is a foregone conclusion. I have been looking and driving a couple of F-cars. the closest to performance and affordable is the 360 modena in F1 version. the vehicle is so lightweight and the 400+ hp is easily tapped. with a few more dollars, the next best thing is the F430. too bad, I can have 3 evo x MR's for that.

Ive been driving around in a 2014 fiesta st for the past couple of mo ths and i love it. I actually almost sold my evo to buy one, but backed out bc i love my evo too much. First fully built motor, me and my friends built it together, etc. if i was going to spend 20-25 k on a new car, i would buy the fiesta st over everything else. I have lots of videos racing it at sebring, nashville superspeedway, etc. its an amazing machine.
You will not be disappointed with a fiesta st. At least drive one and youll see!

Fiat Abarth is a cheap, fun little car too that I think gets honorable mention.
Living in a city, you see a lot of smaller cars. I've seen quite a few of those turbocharged Fiestas around.
How well do they handle power modifications?
I'm looking forward to a real STI BRZ as well.

I'm actually resigned from buying another evo after my wreck. it was a non-survivable accident and pure luck and God had a hand in it. most of my purchases now are SUV's and non-covertible for the same reason. if it is the same evo I think it is, I still have the VIN and I know it has never been titled unless sold overseas. but an asking of $50+ leaves much to be desired. so, unless it changes, then maybe but not in the next few weeks.

If they let me keep it, im going to build it into a 300-500 whp beast.

I havent had a chance to mod mine yet bc it is still owned by ford (im a fiesta movement agent) but i have taken it to several performance shops and asked that same question. It runs 10.5:1 compression and 21 psi stock, so anything you do to it to free up airflow it will love it. I also know for a fact the ecu is tunable just like on our evos ive also chatted with ford racing about it and when we picked up the car, they gave us a presentation explainin that the car comes detuned from the factory for fuel economy, so even with a simple ecu flash it stands to gain 50 whp and the motor can run up to 30 psi on 93 octane. They never said it, but im sure those internals come forged, ford is known for doing that.
