I really wish Mitsubishi would see all the attention the new WRX and STI are getting and decide to just make a new Evo already.

It looks like a ford focus had a baby with an STi, then that baby had a baby with an Evo X.

So. Wrong.

It looks horrible. I agree that the hawkeye STi is still the best looking one.

"Beyond the numbers, the 2015 Subaru WRX now feels and behaves like an Evo, and I’m not referring to just the rigid ride. The gearbox is reminiscent of an Evo GSR’s – relatively short throws and a bit notchy – "
If the WRX is like the X then hopefully the Sti is really raw. It won't be, unfortunately. All trolling aside, the X is a great performance car for the money, but I miss the raw feel of the VIII/IX.

How did they drop the ball when the EVO X was clearly the benchmark Subaru strived to meet with the WRX/STI? Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Besides the 2015 STI still has one of the worst engines in the industry in the EJ257. The WRX is the better car now by default because of it's superior engine.

Clearly... but the XI is pretty fail. I believe that might be what he meant.

I have lost interest in the Sti, pending a test drive. I was hoping for at least the new motor, if they aren't going to bump the power.

As soon this car showed up the resale value on my 2013 Evo X just went up...thanks to Subaru lol... The 2015 Sti interior is hideous, the seats are huge, the rims look ugly as hell, they need some serious help in the design department !!

I'm wondering if Mitsubishi is building it for them using tooling for the X. Way to go Subaru! build a kick *** concept car that makes everybody think you are on top of your game and then come out with a car that looks 7 years old already.

Mitsu won't have to sweat very hard to beat that.

Sounds like someone is going to sell his EVO for one of these.

lol... already sold the Evo, but I bought a 'merica car... (Mustang GT, missed rwd and not having lag)...

I'd never be able to go from an Evo to an STi, my sister has an 08. its basically the same car be drives worse... sure the new STi is improved, but its still no Evo when it comes to driving dynamics, I wouldn't be able to handle the step down. Even my sister said she hated getting back into her car after driving my Evo...

People need to actually drive the new car before commenting on it. I think it's a sign that Subaru got it right when reviewers say it drives similar to an Evo X. My only reservation is the engine. I don't see the point in buying the STI over the WRX when eventually, Subaru will be replacing the engine in the STI with some version of that in the WRX.
