Yep that's why no one has been too up on it.

Not sure what Ford was thinking with that one.

I am sure the brass couldn't stomach the kind of abuse these cars will get if they allowed the driver to shift!

So you want to go from an Evo X to an Evo X look a like with a weak engine and terrible seats...

$40+k for a Focui would also be hard to swallow. I would wait and see how it takes to mods before dumping that kind of coin on it if you were going to go that route. Also hunchback FTL.

It has the same engine that is in the Mustang essentially, so not really anticipating many issues. Also the Focus RS has been in production in Europe already so I don't believe your argument has any merit.

New focus doesnt share anything with the old RS....OP I say wait until next year at least....Subi should be putting the new motor in from the wrx and the rs will be out..you should have some choices then...you arent gonna find a better chassis than what you already have could always look for a newer X with options if thats what you are looking for

91AKI = 95 RON (standard fuel in Europe)
93AKI = 98 RON (the usual "premium" choice in Europe)
Also most of regular cars in Europe are tuned to run on 95RON.
I had that trouble with my USDM Galant which had tune to drink 89AKI or so(you call it regular right?). Dreadful mileage.

Yes...This is what I experienced when driving in Germany and the Netherlands as well.

Yes 89 is the US regular grade.

100 is available in the US but is pricey. Seen $8.99 or higher, which is about what the EU pays for their regular gas.

So many mixed opinions.... At the end..I think I will take this advise
Ford's reliability
STi's engine
Maybe next gen RX7 or S2000
I am just a little tired driving the same car more than 6 years.

if you're willing to pay, just buy some of this stuff and add it to every tank when you fill up (not your average everyday octane booster)
