That's really not the reality of it. Knowing a lot fo guys that own those high dollar cars, they go about mods and maintenance the same way you or I do for our "low" dollar cars. Things are planned and saved for.

well I'm assuming the buyer would be responsible with their money. if you can't afford 5-10k of maintenance a year its not exactly smart to be buying a 100k+ car

so for the idiot who barely scraped together 100k to buy a car, the GT350R is a better choice.

The Ferrari you can afford for GT350 price is slower significantly than the GT350. If you just care about having a name then sure, but I don't think that's whats being talked about here.

If I didn't need a back seat, would still take C6z or C7 Z51 over any of the mustang or Camaros. And the next C7 Grandsport will decimate all!

GT350R price, taking markup into consideration. Most of them are 100k plus. I'd rather have a on F430 than a GT350R, but that's just me

Spend more time on the Mustang forum, almost no one is paying more than $5k over invoice on even the pre-orders.

on the R's? I know the standard GT350 is selling 5kish over sticker, I thought the R's were still 25k+?

if thats the case I take it back. I did mention before this pricing is temporary...

Its possible that's changed since I was looking right around launch time, but anyone paying that much markup is an idiot that has 25k to throw away. ADM is literally money thrown away. Any dealer markup IMO is a deal breaker.

Though their is one thing I'll agree with you from a previous post... I think the engine sounds like ****. Its just raspy and uneven sounding. Why did they have to run an odd firing order just to make it "mustang-like". Would like it much better if they made it with 180deg firing and equal length headers. Of course all my (our?) opinion, but its not that amazing too me.

I have yet to hear one in person. The RS sounded horrible to me in videos (raspy like the mustang.. but even worse because it's a 4cyl LOL), but it was nice in person. I'll wait on judgement on the 350R until I hear one in person.
Even in the videos, though, it's nice to hear it scream at 8k RPM.

thats exactly the opposite of how it sounds to me. its not raspy at all and it sounds perfectly even, like its an EDM beat or something... I heard it both in car and 4 feet away track side as it went past me full throttle at 120ish. its the perfectly even EDM type beat of the engine that gets to me. it doesn't even seem to increase in tempo as the revs climb

but my experience with how it sounds is only at track speeds. so like 4-4.5k to redline.

edit:
just looked up a vid and my experience in car was a lot different than the vid I just watched as far as sound goes... so I'm not sure whats going on.. do theses pump sound through the speakers too?

1:36.11 $75k+???

1:37.78 $45k and this isn't even the Z28 version

as much as I love the Coyote engine (not the GT350 version though), GM wins this round in price per performance by quite a huge margin

I was holding out on leasing another car because of the 2017 Camaro SS 1LE, unfortunately it just didn't come in time....

On paper I love the SS 1LE, in practice I just couldn't do it with that visibility.
