I am with YellwTyper there is something up. I have raced an
srt-4 from a 30 mph and 5 mph, I gave him the benefit of not
racing from a stop. Let's just say they are fast but I beat him
good both times that video was corrupt. I am not hating cause they are fast but cmon. That looked like my old 99si against my evo. Think about it, the evo can run mid 13's average driver, and that neon was so far ahead he would of hit low 12's giving a conservative time. Imo of course.

 

Wow! That is almost unbelievable. Either that Neon has some serious mods, or the whole thing was a rig. I don't think even the worst driver could get smoked that bad. Heard the Neon was fast, didn't know it could fly .

 

IMO, the Evo guys still in the progress to break-in his car. He is trying to maintain to stay below 5000rpm. Let wait for part 2 when he smoked the Neon.

 

I have a scene with a GTP Grand Prix. Didn't tape it, but I was holding back to stay below 5000 rpm. My car is still less than 200 miles. That GTP guys even think he beats me. I just ease up the gas.

Also it says the neon srt-4 has the following mods.=It has an MBC at 15 psi (I believe) Downpipe, full 3 in. back no cats, ported turbo with new bigger wheel.

He ran a 13.7 the next day at about 90 degrees with no traction.

Man that was a poor representation of the two cars running 100%. My Ford Slocus would have stayed closer to that Neon.

ok look at this, this same srt is racing a 03 cobra which in stock form has a trap speed of 115mph, this srt is not slightly moded its seriously moded. (make sure you watch the second race in the video)

Its just preference... the car is listed as having the following mods. Even though we might be astonished by the results.... It did it and it proves the car is worthy of its new reputation. On the other hand... we chose our cars for our own sole purposes... they most likely chose it on price. SRT will always win us against cost, but quality, and adjustability we will win against almost any car out there. I really do have to give the car credit, too bad the other car wasn't running similar mods.

did you watch any of the other videos??? just by shift speed the guy pulls damn near 3/4 length on the eclipse. you can see the jump he gets. kinda cool looking.

I'm not saying its hard to drive in a strait line, in fact I seem to do it constantly quite well... but if there was an award for it... this guy might win a prize

Edit: don't get me wrong, the guys car is CRAZY fast, and the evo driver must have **** his pants right after launch or something and just given up.

I give this guy HUGE props... he can swallow a loss, and accept a victory. And his car is just sickly fast!

 

LOL... what nice places to go and do some racing. Down here we have nothing like that. But kind of scary, seems like 20 feet in the air from the looks of it. Anyways yeah why can't Evo owners be just as retarded and post some videos of their kills? We want kills people!

 

I didn't see one car on any of those roads. it all seemed pretty safe to me. if anyone was going to get hurt it was the guys int he cars.

I love videos like that, as much as I dont really like street racing. those vids are so damn fun to watch!!!
