the mopar upgrade also includes a turbo upgrade on the srt-4 my friend has one

 

i've seen a dyno graph of 2004 Neon SRT-4 that showed around 270 whp & around 245 tq.

is the 2004 SRT-4 really underrated?
if it really is then the actual crank hp for that car will be at least 290-300 hp (assuming around 15-20% hp loss)

the SRT-4 also weighs around 2900 lbs. if they make AWD SRT-4 that car will pull like no tomorrow

any opinions? or am i just reading some BS posts about this car?

dude, you read it backwards. it has 243 WHP and 271 lbs of torque.

 

the 03 srt-4 had 230 WHP while dodge advertised 215 whp

it was my understanding that the 04 srt-4 was finally just advertising how much hp the car really had, not that it was making more power.

i don't believe that is a stock srt-4 making all that power. sorry.

Well, you and your friend are wrong. The stage 1 is the only thing that has been released and it icludes 527cc (at 58psi) injectors and an ecu reflash. The 04 stage is is jaut an ecu reflash because it comes with the larger injectors from the factory. All of the advertise ments call it stage one turbo upgrade but it won't include a turbo untill stge 3 (expected to be released at the begining of 04). Stage 1 is only like 300-400 bucks
