Very impressive and gutsy on the owner's part.

Once that thing hits the track and lights up, things will break with that amount of hp at the wheels and engine rebuilding will be a common chore. And I can't imagine the torque steer. What good is all that power if you can't manage it. All that power is obnoxious and unnessesary for the street.

NO WEIGHT REDUCTION

Car was assembled in 3 weeks.

That IMO is not seriously modded.
So what was all that hubub on the SRTFourms about the car being race modded? I clearly remember some anger about that.

There have been instances of severely underpowered cars placing very high in the One Lap of America. It attracts all kinds of assclowns that have way more money then brains or driving talent... Regardless, it's cool to see a "little" underpowered SRT4 compete with the big boys.

Hardcore is all I got to say. Anyway They now have Aftermarket Handling parts that dramtically improves the handling of the SRT4. I just haven't heard much about it yet. Can someone verify?

Also he needs to upgrade the axle on that thing before taking it to the track, other srt-4's have snapped it with less tq. Still an impressive car though.
ehhh...yeah..the numbers might be slightly inflated because of the spraying of the intercooler but remember the clutch was slipping and they lost about 30 hp. The n20 was used because they didn't have a good fan around. Regardless, they weren't try to squeeze every bit out on this run. The car really has a lot more to put out.

And yes I believe Steve has ordered new stage 3 axles.

Mopar, IPP, Eibach, Progress, Goldline, Energy Suspensions, Perrin...all of these companies make either springs, coilovers, sway bars, bushing kits, you name it.

More companies on the way.

Atleast this video was of good quality. Those srt-4s are mean from a roll. Beware the srt-4 mass topend hp. Probably the only good affordable thing the U.S has made in a long *** time.

if u can shift

<sigh>

Drag racing...

No...Roll Racing!

Nice quality vid.

BTW smoked my first SRT4 two nights ago. (with two passengers). It came down to a matter of shifting. In all, it was boring...I beat him (actually the EVO did all the work). I wish I could have taken him up a small canyon, that's where the EVO really shines.

SRT4...not a bad car though...I wonder who did the motor? Hmmm.... !!

Later,

jcnel.
