2002 Pontiac Firebird: Pontiac's sporty coupe would be retired after the 2002 model year. For its last year, power windows, locks, mirrors, and antenna were standard. Offered earlier in the year was a commemorative Collector package based on the Trans Am; it included WS6 equipment, yellow paint with black accents, and special wheels and trim.

Pontiac Firebird

It's too flippant to dismiss the Pontiac Firebird as an afterthought repackaging of Chevy's Camaro. But it's inaccurate to describe it as a vehicle that would exist if the Camaro didn't. Born with genuine Pontiac powerplants in its engine bay, the Firebird developed its own exuberant tradition that made it the glamour car of the 1970s and snuck in a few surprises during the '80s and '90s that are recognized today as classics of recent vintage.
With the Firebird gone from its lineup for 2003, Pontiac's "We Build Excitement" boast seems more hollow than ever.

I love my 04 Eblue SRT4. I was planning on getting the EVO RS, but with a tight budget and summer nearby, I got the SRT4.
I'm kinda glad I didnt get the RS, cuz my srt still has some creature comforts, like A/C and a factory installed kicker soundsystem.
The other day i was riding with a girl and she asked me to turn on the a/c, and I was like ok...but in the RS she would have roasted.

when you get what's called a late model you've already had the TSB RCL work done, then if you were to buy it earlier in the year i consider it to be a 03, being it was coming out of the assem line about the time the Herritage 427 T/a's were with the "Berger-special" 427 Camaro
