haldex on the smaller cars yep. but they call all their audis with some form of awd as "quattro" - regardless of whatever awd they actually use

Yeah, Audi wants you to think Quattro is always the "real/full" version.

That is some shady marketing. They specifically market the RS3 as featuring "permanent quattro® all-wheel drive." They had me fooled.

I guess by "permanent" they mean your haldex system is always on the car o.0

Technically 95/5 is still AWD.

Btw, the Lambo Aventador and Bugatti Chiron uses Haldex as well.

The manual Golf R can't be launched. It comes with something in the factory that stops you from doing it. The DSG version is the only one that launches hard.

Neither can the CTR and also that has nothing to do with the roll race outcome.

I suggest to do more reading up on Haldex, more importantly, how it's programmed uniquely for each application.
