I really wanted to like this car but after seeing it in person I can't imagine being over the age of 25 and driving it. I owned a new Integra Type R back in the day. That was a fun car.

People have mentioned this before, but styled for a young person and priced for a mid level executive I can't see it being a big seller.

The same was/is true of the Evo, STI and RS. The only car in the segment that is "grown up" is the Golf R.

Beauty is subjective. But it is clear that the CTR's performance and positive press is helping drive civic sales http://hondanews.com/channels/honda-...017-auto-sales

You mean, all the hype from having a halo car drives band interest and increases sales? Someone should tell Mitsubishi...

Mitsu COMPLETELY dropped the ball, when it came to promoting the Evo.
I'm sure they had their bean-counted reasons

They need cars that are worth marketing. Here is an article about Mitsubishi's market strategy from 2013.

"Mitsubishi also had plans for eight plug-in hybrid or electric vehicles by 2015." http://adage.com/article/media/mitsu...tising/242136/
