Civic Type R
Idk, I thought it was pretty big when I saw it in person... it's bigger than late 2000's accords, at least to the naked eye (don't want someone whipping out actual dimensions and proving me wrong
)
)
I think its big too. I like the styling of the FK2 better. But I am just glad we have the option in the US finally. Maybe the next gen will get my $ (If they make a proper coupe or 3 door hatch).

the main problem I have with big cars is weight. The CTR isn't too bad at 3100lb... I'm fine with the size, I was just surprised when I saw it in person, didn't expect it to be as big as it was
Seeing the Type R in that lineup as the only fwd car made me believe that Honda actually will make an awd version. They hinted at it, but I thought it was nonsense until seeing the hot hatch competition. I wish we got the A45 here (and no the GLA45 is not the same car).
I think the RS3 has a proper awd system as it uses a center differential. https://www.carwow.co.uk/blog/audi-q...stem-explained

A4 and above platform gets normal Quattro.

As expected. Focus RS and Golf R don't stand a chance against the CTR from a roll.

"Youll most commonly find quattro fitted to Audis high-performance RS models including the RS3, TT RS and the mid-engine R8 super car."

"quattroŽ all-wheel drive
The RS 3 Sedan employs permanent quattroŽ all-wheel drive with no set torque distribution. The all-wheel drive system adjusts and fine-tunes to help maximize grip and overall control, sending as much power to the rear wheels as possible."

I literally just showed you drivetrain layouts for both the RS3 and TTRS which shows Haldex. RS3 and TTRS use the MQB platform and are clones of each other. The marketing blurb on the audi site tells us nothing other than it's awd. You can also just look under a car at a dealer and see with your own eyes.
The crown gear center diff is on the Quattro systems A4 and above.
I just posted facts and I'm done arguing with you.
