Civic Type R
That's TMP in Cayuga, about 35 minutes from where I live. FWIW, a "teen" lap time is considered fast. 1:22 for the two Civics is about in the middle of my Elantra @ 1:27 and my friend's GT2 @ 1:17.
idk, 5 seconds off a GT2 isn't bad for a 35k car (assuming no markup)... what year GT2?
It's been a while to let things sink in. I'm still really liking the car, at MSRP. If I were in the market for a daily driver that I could track, I'd seriously have to give it some consideration.
I don't really understand the thought process of swapping this engine into other hondas other than being able to say "I have a CTR engine swapped in". A standard k20 plus a turbo makes more sense... it'll make as much power as the CTR engine with ease and all supporting mods are already out there...
Cool tidbit on the front lower ball joints, I'm curious if his idea of flipping them will actually work

so apparently CTR's go into limp mode after a few hard laps, prolly just long enough to complete a nurburgring lap..
wonder how much difference this stuff will make

Not to mention the ring is high speed so cooling is a bit higher than your average track.
you can find them at sticker now... I mean you'll have to shop around, but you shouldn't have any issues finding one.
keep in mind they have heat management issues if you plan on tracking it... they need some cooling mods even at stock power to be able to last a 20 min session
