hmmm, interesting... I guess that makes sense now that I think about it. Pretty much every track day I've ever done that has point by passing wants it on the outside and always over emphasizes that in the drivers meeting

yea the MO with most of the groups here in the NE is that the person giving the point by stays on line and it's up to the person passing to adjust. Which I can agree with.

However, if I am on a cool down lap or coming in I always make sure to stay off line or get off line well before someone is on me. To me, it's just more respectful.

You would be surprised how many even advanced drivers don’t think about that. I even speed up/slow down to be in the best possible position (out of the way) for the coming car when I am coming off track. A lot of other drivers dgaf.

I’ve also had drivers throw the pit signal at the very last moment too which drives me nuts.

This 992 GT3 driver does that at the end of this clip of mine.

oh trust me I know, haha... I've only ever tracked slow cars, so any little thing from being forced to pass out of position to the driver giving the point by staying part throttle makes passing take so much longer that they decide I'm actually not trying to pass and stay out in front. It got to the point where I started bringing it up in drivers meetings cause pulling into the pits and asking for space got old really quick.

pit thing too... besides everything else your not gonna take a cool down lap? just park your car in the pits right off a hotlap? lol

Added something to the garage that is closer to an Evo to keep the Supra warm at night.

Nice addition to the stable. On a different topic what are your long term thoughts on the floor? Does it get filled with dirt/dust/debris? If so do you take it up every once in a while and blow out underneath it?

I had the same question. The floor looks great but feels like it would be a pain to clean.

I have two young boys who like to run between the garden and the garage so I'm always sweeping out mud. Seems like that flooring would do better in a low-dirt environment?

I assume this is a M340i AWD? I've entertained getting one but then I always go to looking at an F80 M3 (Granted RWD) or keeping my Evo X. Nice car !

Everything just falls through. I've had it for three years now and it's a bit dirty underneath now but you can't see it unless you look directly down. I will probably pull sections out this spring and clean it out.

It is not. It's a 330i Xdrive M Sport. So B48 turbo 4cyl but the suspension, front/rear bumpers, and interior are the same as the M340i. I would have loved another B58 but it didn't really make financial sense. M340i's were $10-15k more.

One of the big reasons I picked one up is almost all my Supra take-offs fit. I just put my OEM supra wheels on the 330i. 19x9/19x10 with 275/35/19 rear and 245/40/19 front to keep Xdrive happy.

Nice going to town rig Bryan! Wassup?
Picked up a B48 ride myself but you'll never guess what it's in.
BTW Happy New Year!
