These are not the seats of a 2020 base model, correct? I keep asking dealerships which version of the car they have, none of them seem to know. So, trying to do my own research. I need to just write this crap down lol
Looks like a premium. Tell the sales people to look at the calipers. If they are red, it's a premium. If they are silver, it's a base. I think that is the most simple way.
Are all launch editions premiums? If not how can you determine a launch edition? Emblems or tags....etc.
Launch Edition is premium. Also has full red seats and red interior trim. Numbered and signed CF dash insert. Matte black wheels.
2022 premiums are also now available with red seats as an option. So the numbered and signed cf insert will be the giveaway for a launch edition, and the black wheels.
2021 a91 editions have the leather/alcantra seats, blue interior stitching and the black stripes on the rear c pillar. Also have matte
black wheels. Some have rear spoiler lips. No HUD
2022 a91 CF edition have leather/alcantra seats with red accents. CF side skirts, CF rear spats, CF front spats. CF rear spoiler lip. Black wheels. No HUD.
My Launch Edition numbered CF insert and interior:
Confusing lol.
I'll just find whichever.. I'll probably never know the difference.
I did come across a couple '21 GT500s though. I never really had one on my radar... but they are turning some decent lap times.
The interior/ exterior combo has always been my fave. i love white on red. My only problem would be the wheel being red, right where I touch it the most.

You could always change the wheel, or the other interior panels for that matter. This isn’t a Mach IV, so interior panels are readily available. That asymmetry on the door color kind of bugs me. I might need to go back to black on the left or add red to the right. I’m leaning Supra, so trying to figure the color thing out myself.

Very BMW thats what I was looking for in a daily X5 4.4l
All the used Supras I'm finding seem to be MSRP or above.
2.0s are priced as 3.0s.
ridiculous.
I just can't.
I definitely wouldn't be shopping for a car right now unless I absolutely needed it right now.
A lot of the pandemic-related supply chain issues have been steadily reversing as soon as supply chain backlogs clear out. The automotive backlog might take longer than others, but I don't see it lasting for years.
Gotta say I absolutely hate the field of view in the Supra, all A-pillar and hood...granted I'm short. The rest was lost on me due to view. Sticking to the Evo for the rest of time...or they stop selling gas.
1. I went a COMPLETELY different direction.
2. Since I'm at 1.79% interest and didn't need anything down, I'm probably keeping the Evo too.
Talk about full circle; my first performance car was a brand new '00 GT.
3. But, now I need to sell my trailer and get a larger one so I can take either car to the track.
4. Hopefully my Sequoia will pull all of that.
5. Yes, it's an R.
