It is, at least out here. When I was shopping, there where like ten yellows available for every one white. White and grey are the most popular. Then black and silver it seems.

 

I am pretty sure the yellow has no metallic in it. Should be one of the easiest colors to find in stock and without crazy markups.

 

Well.. that WOULD give me time to swap the clutch in the Evo and enjoy it a bit more. I have two more tracks I'd like to get it to before I sell.

Not even close. You would have a hard time even fitting one full size wheel back there.

I will miss the utility of the Evo for track days for sure. I fit all four 18x10.5 track wheels, five jugs of E85, my camping seats, my toolbox, my full size aluminum jack, two jack stands, my helmet, a backpack and some other little things.

I think in the supra I will be lucky to fit a backpack, my helmet and a camping chair. lol

I'm in talks with a dealership in Corona that has a yellow '22 available. Looking to possibly trade in the Aston and just be done with everything.

 

That said, I did take out almost all the trunk panels today to install a dashcam + battery backup and, just like the Evo, the space gets decently larger. Still no way you are fitting four wheels/tires back there.

 

If you end up in Corona, you better stop by my place on the way back up north!

 

We will see! They are asking for a $7000 mark up and I'm telling them to kick rocks. Especially since I know they're gonna try to beat me up on the trade in.

v8vs pulling good $ private sale. You'll get screwed on trade in. If your car is clean and manual, it'll sell. If I sold mine, I'd be up 10k. I'd use bring a trailer or at minimum one of the exotic car groups on FB.

 

I've been trying to make a bring a trailer ad but they are Time consuming and I haven't been able to get through it lol
I've gotten a really good response from the exotics group on Facebook. I had a buyer coming supposedly. According to the guy, he was Bringing A cashier's check. He was a local guy, so I thought he was serious. I've had 3 other potential buyers but they couldn't get financing lol

 

That dealership is near me and they are small. I would think they would mark up everything because it is low volume dealer. I wonder if you can use truecar or costco to get a locked in deal.

I used my credit unions deal with truecar to get my Focus RS for $34.9k or $34.5. When I walked into the dealer they told me the price would be $3k over sticker ($36.9k sticker I think?). I showed the dealer this add and confirmation e-mail I got from truecar through my credit union and they said they had to honor that deal. This was 2017 though.

 

Right now, dealers will 100% laugh at you if you bring in a truecar price.
