Some in-cabin footage. You can see I'm not sliding/flaying about anymore with the new seat setup.

I would never leave traction control fully on. It's absolutely horrible. I get it to kick on with my normal drive to and from work. Even with it on 1 click, I can still get it to kick in pretty easily. It's a very sensitive system. Just wait until you go all off. It's amazing how much it helps. Just got to be quick with your hands to catch it. Honestly, with the traction control on at all, it makes the car super sketchy with how it re-applies the power. Almost guaranteed to put you sideways. If you have any auto-x events around, go to one, turn everything off and send it. You will be surprised at how easy the car is to catch when it kicks out.

You mean except for the Supra that earned 7th place overall? 7 comes before 10, right? Lol. Continues to sound like you are on a mission here. Trying to (falsely) cherry pick while excluding the fact that Supras dominated their class and the other two supras placed 12th and 13th overall.

An X3M also beat the other supras. Guess I should trade my supra in for an SUV and hit the track!

🤔😎

The Toyota Production Engineering Motorsports Supra finished 7th.

So there you have it. Just get some factory support and anything is possible.

I'm just glad the SuperK S2000 finished. I love that build, even it has been troublesome for them in the past.

Typhoon FTW! No joke though, our X5 with the B58 and hybrid ZF trans is impressively fast. Not like model X plaid fast or anything, but it can move.

BMW put the S58 into the X3M.

S58 > B58

Therefore X3M > Supra? I don't make the rules, I just call them like I see them.

(EDIT: Browsing through the results, it appears the X3M did actually beat at least one Supra in a surprising number of events including the dry skid pad which is kind of hilarious: https://www.onelapofamerica.com/even...258&eventId=42 . That SUV was flying )

That supra is a cookie cutter build for normal people supra track cars. All non-toyota mods. Verus aero, CSG brake pads, SPL arms, KW coilovers, CSF cooling, etc etc. If it was a fully backed factory car it would probably just use all the Toyota Supra GT4 parts.

FYI, that tesla has 1,000hp.

Well, also because as someone already stated, it was driven by Randy Pobst.

Photos looking good! I seem to remember someone talking about rock chips on the doors. How many miles do you have on it and any chips yet?

I put some mud flaps on the front that have seemed to help as the flaps are peppered to hell. That said my wheels/tires are slightly wider than them so I have a few in the lower area and on the black sideskirts.

I have chips in both my doors. We will see how many more I get after this weekend of racing.
