Just order some paint protection film off Amazon or similar and put it on the common chip areas. You can get smaller cuts, so you aren't dealing with massive rolls of film.

Honestly, I don’t really care. I’m in the camp that cars are to be used. I’m also really off put by the amount of freakin’ threads about full body PPF for $10,000+ on the supra forums and the amount of people being prideful that their Supras only having 2,000 miles after two years.

Yeah I get it. It's a Toyota not a Porsche, but you do live where cars actually rust.

I really don't care about the paint either. Dents on the other hand drive me crazy.... for the 10k people are spending on ppf, you can just get the whole car repainted when it's time and most likely end up with better quality paint.

FYI, that tesla has 1,000hp.
Going to be interesting when the new Z starts trickling onto the track scene probably next year. Going to be watching to see how it fairs

Obviously a biased Bimmer/Yota remark.
New Z uses Z34 underpinnings not Z35 as you misinformed. New Z weights slighty more but also has
a tick more HP. Just glad to see another true Japanese built sports car being introduced.

ORLy? AMS dynoed a new Z vs a 2020 supra (the lower power year) and the Supra made more power and torque (more than 50 more!) to 5500 rpm, and then it was the same. 2021+ supra makes more power than the Z and weighs less. Even the 2020 supra will be faster because of lighter weight and more power under the curve.

Of course, this is one VS's dyno. Should be interesting to see more come out.

More barstool comparisons to be expected,,,, I personally like the looks of the Z.
The Supra is interesting but has more alien looking features too me.
I need to "try" and sit in a new Z and drive it too. BTW who is VS's dyno?

Nissan VS Supra dyno is what I meant. I really dislike how the Z looks, but... I also said that about the new Supra when it came out and now I have one in my garage. :P

Ahh Ok. Interesting comparisons. I was a big fan of the 240Z when I was in HS. They obviously went with a retro look. Road and Track did a straight line comparison and the Z was a couple tenths off from the Supra and just 1 mph slower. That seems to compare well with these dyno readings by AMS. The Z stock is about a quick as my '06 Evo was tuned on E85.

Well ya I might be a bit biased but that comes from being a former 350z owner that had nothing but problems with the car.

And I think you meant Z33 not Z35. The 370 uses a lot of the same parts as a 350 which was the joke to my joke. You would basically be buying a new 20 year old car.

Dont get me wrong, I am glad it came out but I am not expecting it to be that good of a car.
