What city are you in? You are always free to come check out my Supra if you want a more in depth look.

I'm just starting to look into it. So far just at the car wash part and it will be special soap. For protection so far I have read matte coatings are good. Haven't fully explored yet. This will be a weekend car for me so hopefully not a problem. Research will determine what I get.

Alright, I took advantage of all the Black Friday sales and picked up...

Coilovers
Camber plates
Wheels
Tires
Some SPL chassis bits
Some Verus bits

...this winter is going to be an install fest for the Supra

Still figuring out track brake pads. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like they make ST43's for the supra yet.

Bunch of supra guys swear by the CSG pads but they are asking $500 for just the front pads... hell no.

Cool. I am probably 30 min north of you. Near the 210/215 intersection.

Nice list! What wheels did you end up going with?

I need to find more time before I start ordering more parts for my car. I have way too many other projects going on right now. Got 2 other car builds to finish as well as half my house remodel. Then I can move on to the Supra haha.

Agree, and since I have to buy camber plates for almost $500, it was a welcome discount.

Not sure why my Evo Ohlins came with camber plates and rear top hats but the Supra ones do not, AND are $1,000 more.

Why are you going with camber plates over the SPL lower arms? Or doing both?

I might end up with the SPL arms too but I'm trying to minimize aftermarket arms as they can get noisy as hell.

Also, the SPL arms reduce tire to strut clearance.

How would the arms reduce tire to strut clearance? The strut is attached to the spindle and should pivot from the top of the strut. I could see it pushing the track width out with the more camber you put it, which also may not be a good thing.

You are right, for some reason I was conflating that and crash bolts. Either way, still am trying to avoid a squeaky clunky car. So will only add SPL arms if I need to.

I am already adding SPL toe and traction arms to the rear to help with the bumpsteer issue.

Well, I will let you be the test victim. Like I said, I am going to be too busy to have time to mod the car so once you get yours all sorted out, I will just copy you haha.
