What size wheels/tires did you end up getting @Lumpy Sticks ?

I'm planning on putting 18x10.5 squared on. Wish it had the same bolt pattern as my Enkei NT03M's. Would be a perfect swap over. I'm eyeing the Enkei GT0C2's currently

I had to settle on tires since my RT660s never came in. So I am on 615s for now. Their sizes are a bit different from what the 660s would have been.

I went with Apex Racing for the wheels since they make Supra specific sizes. 11s in the rear, 10s up front. Going to switch the front up to 11s once I get coilovers.

Rears are 18x11 et 40. Fronts are 18x10 et 30. Tires are 315/35 and 275/35. No fitment issues and no rubbing.

Great info. I'm probably going to pick up a set of the Enkei GTC02's in 18x10.5 +35. What coilovers are you looking at?

I am tempted by the Ohlins but really want something that retains the electronic dampening. So kind of at a standstill until something decent comes out. I think KW makes a set but havent looked too far into it.

Most people who run 10.5" square go for a 38 offset so you should be good there.

Ohlins is what I am going with. It won't be a daily so I don't really care about the EDC. The Ohlins rates are at 9kf/16r. I might up the front but I'm also still learning about setting up a RWD chassis correctly.

Mine isnt a daily either but I still think it would be cool to have 2 different modes to select with the push of a button. No need to crawl under the car to make them stiffer or softer (for the most part). Wait until you get the car on the track before you decide on spring rates. The way the car handles definitely takes some getting used to, especially after being behind the wheel of an Evo for years. I have been to the track 4 times now (in the Supra) and still have a lot to learn and am very undecided on which end of the car I want to stiffen up. Going to do sway bars before getting into coilovers. Just havent decided on which bars I want to go with yet...

Good luck with EDC good coilovers. On the F8x platform, people seem to think the KW EDC was only as good as the KW V3. It is a good street coilover, but not good on a road race track. But for Autox with increased spring rates the KW V3 was decent on the Evo. Bilstein makes a PSS EDC coilovers which is like the PSS10 coilover. M owners think it is too stiff for the street. But with M3CS coding, it became acceptable. Seems like the ones that had no problems with ride quality said it made the rearend uneasy to put the powder down. But Bilstein revalves the PSS coilovers so if you're the tinker type it might work for you. Then finally there is Tractive. They make an EDC coilover with a control box that lets you use the OEM sensors to fine tune the EDC file just like the OEM does. But on the Focus RS platforms, the coilover cable seems to break easy. Or there are failures with the coilover itself. Something is not working right on the Focus RS cars and tractive.

F all that. Ohlins because they are great on the street, already, and not many people swap suspension profiles often, anyway.

@kaj buy them for me and I'll let you know how it goes haha

@razorlab this should show you the poke front and rear of my current setup. Please note, my tires run narrow compared to most others. Remember, front will be out way farther than mine.

Edit - if you are planning on going coilovers right away, get 11s by 40 et if you can, all around. Get as fat of a front tire as you can. Normal size tire lands you in a 295-305 all around.

Right, but you are currently not running any more negative camber than stock, correct?

Correct. I was going to throw my lowering springs on and get it aligned but decided to wait until I get the adjustable lower arms so I can actually dial in some camber.

For me, it was the feel of the car. The M2 steering feels very vague compared to the Supra. That said, neither of them are close to the feel and communication of an Evo. I was also wanting to try something other than a sedan and the M2 was closer to a sedan than the Supra.

Then I also found out about the crank hub issues with the M2/3/4...

Here is a good example of how capable the new supra becomes for track use with some mods.

This one has wheels/tires/suspension/aero but stock power and it's hitting sub 2:00 at Thunderhill it's first time out, which is blazing fast. This is a couple of seconds faster than my 500whp+ Evo at a track that I've done hundreds and hundreds of laps on over more than decade. This supra is also matching my terminal speed in the front straight with like 150whp less.

I've been kind of anti-aero most of my life because I like making a true street car fast on track but I might have to rethink my stance.

Well... a Supra is a LOT cheaper than what the direction I was planning to go... and seems just about as fast with some bolted-on parts. I may have to give one a try. If anyone happens to see one in grey or white...
