Between DSMTalk/Tooners & here there's been plenty of dumpster fires over the years. The difference is there is good information everywhere around the fires on forums. There is nothing but dumpster fires on social media. If you find that island I'll go halfsies.

Getting excited. Tires arrived. Brake pads on the way (took all day to source).
Trying to decide between being fun and Ordering camber plates and bolts, next, ....or a harness.
Plus, if I order the plates and bolts, I have to get ANOTHER alignment.
Too many choices.

 

Also, I just remembered another problem with asking questions on facebook.... Because it happened again.
I asked the appropriate group if I would have any clearance issues with my wheel/tire and use of a camber bolt since my plates wouldn't be here in time.
First three replies:
"Which track and how much experience do you have?"
"You should get camber plates instead."
"I put on camber plates and got a lot more camber than you will with bolts".

Why can't anyone just answer the question?
Does experience affect clearance? LOL

 

haha, you should go visit the miata forums... you ask a question about cooling on a boosted car and they start asking if your suspension is up to snuff to deal with the increased power...

Nice. A set of Falkens arrived here today too. I panic-bought them when I read someone on FB saying prices will go up this weekend. I dont even have space for them

 

I bought a CAR that I don't have space for.

I'm probably one of very few people that leaves a semi rare car parked in the drive way to get beat on by the weather.

 

I dont have space for all my cars at home either but i cant come to keeping any of the nice ones outside. So luckily I get free storage at work in my office haha.

 

Meh. Leaving a $70k car in the driveway to rot makes me appear baller to my neighbors
Since I'm putting off the clutch job on the Evo indefinitely, I'll probably put it outside and keep the two nice cars indoors. I don't really have another choice.

 

I dont live in a nice enough area to have any want to leave a nice car outside. I would rather everyone think I'm broke and collect junk. The 3 cars in my driveway right now may, on a very good day, add up to 15k combined. The 2 cars in the garage, almost 100k. Drive by my house with the garage closed and you would think I'm the most broke person on the block haha.

 

I was kidding, of course. Nothing I can do about it. It's either the Evo goes outside and collects dust while I try to sell it or the Mustang. Right now I'm thinking to clean up the Mustang really well and put it in the garage. If the Evo gets stolen, at least I won't have to sell it

 

I would put the black car out before any of them haha. But thats just me. I do have to admit the supra stayed outside for a couple weeks while I got another car ready to get out of the garage.

 

What's your black car? And of all the colors to leave out to get dirty....
