Best definition of him is grifter. Does he just move on to other platforms once its found out he doesn't know what he is doing? I never followed up on the BMW 335I he moved on to after Evos which I think was still Vishnu.

He was big in the BRZ/FRS scene for a bit. Then some Miata stuff. Now I think he is trying to find the next group of suckers.

Anyone else remember the fierce battles on this board arguing whether the Vishnu Xede was superior to a reflash? Of course, back then, a reflash was often a Dynoflash quickie with a big block of 8s in the middle of the timing table.

I won't be getting one for at least two years. I decided to go back to school.

As far as the article. It's Shiv. He hasn't done anything differently than anyone else. Also ain't making 500hp if it's only trapping 119. Guy is a trust fund doof. Who cares.
why do they have to go to Russia? can't whoever does them in Russia license the process to someone here? or is everyone in the US scared of getting a 6 figure fine from the EPA?

FEMTO is the company, and they are holding the secret close to heart for now. That way they make the money.

Doesn't matter to me, I have a 2020.

Nah we will let you slide since you are dumping $$$ in your Evo. And no problem. I got some special Evo parts for you too once all your other parts show up. I keep finding stuff in my garage that I wont have any use for haha.

I am waiting this one out until prices are actually decent. Car has plenty of power for now. The JB4, once tuned right, gave it a nice bump in power and should hopefully keep things safe.

Yea, It will go way down and I am 100% sure it will be available in the states. Remember, it's not just the Supras that are locked (small market) but all the BMW's in the same time period (large market)

Kinda offish topic since I didn't end up with a Supra: I may or may not have driven the Moostang around an onramp, in the middle of the night, at about 104mph. The car may or may not have been DEAD NUTS flat with absolutely zero drama or acting like it was having any difficulty. The Evo was a lot more active and affected by the expansion joints and had to be actively driven around the same turn. I am really, really, really surprised. I had no idea as I've never driven anything newer in the same way. I felt like I could have done the turn 50mph faster, and this was on Pilot 4s that were a bit overly wide in the back. WOW. I have a track day on Feb 6 at the local Time Attack course, so I can get an apples to apples comparison on lap times. I'll be going with only an alignment via camber plates on the GY SC3R 305 squared tires.

At first I was like "meh" about the car, but now I'm getting pretty excited. This thing may be an absolute blast on course. I'm told I should be able to do a 1'53" without really trying. I think that is a bit ambitious, seeing how the Evo did a 1'56". We'll see. I haven't been this stoked for a track day in a long, long time.

Weird bit of info: I'm thinking the car pulls power in 1st gear. Without the traction control kicking in, the car seems to not accelerate very fast, but when I go into 2nd, it all of a sudden GOES. I know one of my other car is programmed to do the same, so I'm wondering...

One of the crap things about some aftermarket Evo parts is the induced stiction. Things like rear lower control arms with urethane bushings or front lower control arm offset bushings. Those really only serve to make the handling sketchy.

New cars seem to do a lot of work in using the flex in bushings as part of the chassis spring rate and when we switch those out for urethane we lose that flex but gain stiction. I suspect if you pulled rubber bushings out of the mustang it might feel sharper but also twitchier.

And theres also something to be said about just being softer overall. Mustang is wider and lower CG which certainly helps. And new strut cars also tie sway bars into the strut so as you steer that bar is preloading (because of caster) to also reduce roll. Effectively creating more load as the wheel is turned tighter.

I was in comfort mode, so the car was probably more compliant that any other mode. Seeing how the Evo is always in "track mode", that could have something to do with it. Also, the Mustang has fancy magnetic shocks, so there's that.
There is definitely something to be said for modern tech.
I've had some purists give me a hard time for "bought not built". But I look at it like this:
I've already built a hand full of cars. I deserve a break. The Mustang has everything I'd do to it anyway: Brembos, Recaros, lightweight/big wheels that I could never get on my own, big rubber, decent aero, 500+hp, decent exhaust, and I don't have to mod the engine. All I've done is pay for the mods up front and had the Ford technicians do the install for me. With a warranty. It all ends up the same, anyway. The fact that it may be faster than something someone else built isn't my fault. With the Evo, I kept hearing a guy complain about always being beat by a "500hp Evo that drives itself", so peeps are always gonna whine when you are faster.
TLDR: I'm gonna enjoy the crap out of this car for the next 12mos.

As for low/wide: You should see it next to the Evo. The mustang is as wide as a Viper but lower than the Evo. Having them parked next to each other was a really interesting thing to see.

Yeah he is definitely well off, hes in that FB group I'm in and constant posts with a Ferrari, Porsche, Dodge Hellcat, or M5 that he is "playing" around with. Dude constantly switching platform, its like whatever. What is that saying? "master of all and master of none...."

Of course on that FB group he just gets pandered too, and he only posts to stroke his on ego (but thats a lot of people there...to be fair).
