That and the 8s smile. Nose chops look really good though still smiling like a Miata. LolThe 9 had them snorkels, though
which part is the snorkel? I'm not really a "car-guy" but sometimes I'm conscious about who i'm associating myself with when I pick a car. BMW vs Audi(late 90s), Subie vs Mitsu. I picked the latters
I still keep my 1st gen BMW X5 because it seem to get a lot of 'respect' even from pickup truck guys. These days its what they use for EU villain stunt cars lol
Driving socal canyons is what did it for me. Don't get me wrong, the econobox practicality is a huge benefit IMO. To say it nicely, the cars appearance was something I had to overcome initially. I've grown to like it, and appreciate the styling.
Heck yeah. I used to drive my kid around in his baby seat. Tons of room for kids and road trips

2001. Duh. Also, I'm mixed on the new CTR. The last one was a little over the top but seemed almost like a proper type r. I kind of feel like they went a little too conservative with the current one. I realize that, in the past, a type R, visually speaking, just had a wing, a front lip, and some different wheels to separate it from a base model. It just so happens that the current Civic base model is very uninspiring and unsexy. Lol

Mitsubishi says they are in place to route air over the intercooler piping. I guess, but it sure does look weird.

I dont care about the heritage of the car or who makes it. It's a good car, that's all I care about. I owned an Evo for a couple years, loved it and moved on to something better. The Supra is unique in its own way and if it's not the way you like, good for you. Honestly, I care 0% that it's a bmw with a Toyota badge.
I'm sitting in 2nd place for overall points right now in the series I race in and I can say I could never do that in the evo (same class/same people/same lack of rules). Been a good upgrade for me if I may say so.

I want the <'22 CTR. has enough not-basemodel styling but i was told its hard to clean. what turned me off was the wheel bolt pattern but maybe only temporarily

I originally got mine just to cart the kid around. Hence the name, the baby hauler.

Yep. So far just 1 and its stock besides tires. Others come out to play every now and then but only one going for season points. I havent been beat by one yet but they have come really close.
Maybe I'm alone on this but I've always preferred the look of the 8 front end over the 9, though the 9 doesn't look bad by any means. The lines just seem to flow together better on the 8 and I'm a fan of the center nose lol. It's always bugged me that the Mitsu logo was just plopped in the middle of the grille on the 9.

That was the mitsu design language then. They all had the noses...
those are the pics i wanted to find, but I just cant figure out what exactly was bugging me. it feels like its should be swasticas in front of metal (silver) cars
not gonna lie, the 90's econobox design language never appealed to me. Even the super saiyan anime versions.
I always thought the evo identified as a honda civic with a big oem wing. I despise the sedan with a wing thing so much i had to get the wagon version and do a LHD.
