If anyone is curious, I finally got around to datalogging my stock tune 2020 Supra.
Pretty solid tune for stock mapping. Like most modern DI cars, it basically runs stoich AFR at WOT, even through all the gears. I'm going to assume based on looking through the ROM that it richens up when under repeated WOT like on track. I haven't logged the car on track yet but plan to.
My car hits about 14-15psi peak and drops down to around 10-11psi out the top. This is slightly higher than I have heard of for a 2020, but since the car is torque target based, actual PSI depends on a bunch of factors.
Ignition timing is about 3* to 15* out the top during a 4th gear pull.
The ECU uses the throttle plate as one form of torque management in stock form. It's pretty active as you can tell from the logs, especially the multiple gear WOT logs.
Fast burning combustion chamber designs, better fuel atomization though improved charge air swirl and tumble characteristics, and higher fuel pressure from direct injection all make the fuel less knock prone because they make the fuel/air charge more consistent through the combustion chamber and have less combustible end gases,
I wish my graph looked that smooth. I am running into a weird issue right now where its cutting boost on me. You can really feel it closing and opening the throttle. Stock map is fine but my modded one freaks out. Here is a 3rd gear pull of it freaking out.

Welcome to the crap-tastic world of JB4. It's really garbage. I ran a JB4 on one of my VW's for a hot minute and the drivability was so bad no matter how much I tried to fine tune.

Is the boost here Absolute or Gauge?
Ya I know. I am working on getting a different ecu but I have spent way too much money this month on my house, Supra and buying another car....
That is gauge PSI you are seeing! It hits the built in safety and freaks out. Its suppose to be 19-20psi peak. No idea why it started spiking boost. I literally changed nothing and didnt work on anything in the engine compartment.
It's also the same product that Titan sells, relabeled RaceChip product. We all know how awesome RaceChips are. :P
Sad, that sure seems like a regression. I used an app on my phone to load a >1GB firmware update for the X5. I would think that would make an easy attack vector for modding these things.
It would be cool to just download an app to your phone and bam you can tune the car.

All the flashing software does that now. Ecutek, MHD, Bootmod3
The logs I posted above where logged on my iphone wirelessly over WIFI from my Supras obd2 port.
Bootmod3 even has a web-based ROM editor. Here is a screenshot from my current ROM:
I tried pretty hard to do that but wound up going with wider fenders. Now i'm doing the wyze arms which wern't really around when the evo was being sold.
