Joe - Its a Chevy Bolt EUV. It definitely runs good for what it is. 200hp 270tq and 3800lb. The instant tq is something I am still getting used to.

I just happen to know the sales manager since he lives across the street from me. Haha. He pulled some strings and got it to me in about a week and a half. Plus GM was running some sweet specials that he got me in on as well, like $6300 off msrp.

Wow, 3800#'s (EV's are heavy) but the 270 ft lbs helps!

Nice score. I've been trying to pick up a 2018ish Volt but prices are, of course, stupid on those as well.

Its the flat 270tq that helps. No waiting for anything. It will actually roast the tires to about 35 mph haha.

Yep, I was looking at those too. You can find them reasonable with like 150k miles on them haha. I figured for just a little bit more, I can buy new and have a warranty. Then when the warranty is up, sell it.

Holy hell there was a ton of traffic today at Lime Rock. I guess I am finding out what summer track days on the East Coast are like. I think I got 3 clean laps the whole day...

Are you going to move into time trials? I think for pure HPDE, slower cars are actually more fun because you have more clear laps.

Maybe. I would need to find an insurance provider that covers TT events. I use a mix of three different providers currently, depending on the track I go to, and none of them provide coverage for TT events.

Lime Rock is going to be the worst for traffic here because it's so short. I'll see how the other tracks feel here now that we are in summer.

Did I miss the part where you guys mention what you are doing for harnesses? The ASM Quickfit Pro is my go-to, but not Supra friendly. Hoping I wouldn't need to go aftermarket seat/6pt/etc.

I can tell you the race seat is literally the best mod I did. The oem seat sucks on track.

You can’t use any harness in the supra with stock seats as there are no harness holes in the seat nor is the oem “strut bar” up to the task.

I run a cusco bar plus Sparco seat plus six point scroth harness

Aaaaah. I was browsing pictures and saw what *looked* like harness openings. I hate fake stuff Yeah.. I see the OEM seats look to hold you in place about as well as something from a C4 Corvette. Damn. Well, I could always pull the Sparco out of the Evo. I'm currently in talks with a CA dealership that has a '21 in Yellow with only 6500 miles on it (though it's got some ugly CF side panels I'd need to replace) and a NV dealership who is trying to make a '21 Refraction Blue car work. It has 20k miles, but it's a toyota/BMW, so...
The yellow one has a 38000+ VIN, but I am sternly refusing to mod/tune any engine stuff, so I have no worries about that.

Wish me luck, y'all. Oh. and prices seem to be dropping like rocks. That's what got me looking again. $62k+ cars are now in the $58k range. We're getting there.

I'd buy a C8Z at MSRP. That being said....
