If we're going all the way down the rabbit hole, I have a long list of other Hondas I can add.

I'm not sad i sold my s2k. First the clutch went, then the engine went, then the rear end went, then the trans went..... it was a short expensive venture for me. When it ran, it ran good since it was making around 300 at the crank.

Well, that may have something to do with it.

Once the strut towers rusted through on my '95 Talon TSi AWD it was replaced with a '95 Accord coupe since I was a broke college kid. When passing people I would turn off the AC for that extra little boost and yell VTEC!!! Slow as ***** but there were no unplanned expenses.

Not really related, but an interesting story. I just got done tuning a car that had 5 psi oil pressure at idle and 25 at 7k rpm.... I told the customer it was going to blow up and he said send it. Somehow it did not blow up and made 800hp/800tq to the tires.... Really wonder how much longer its going to last.

IIRC the engine can handle a decent amount of power. It's the drivetrain that isn't happy with higher numbers. First the pumpkin goes, then the trans, usually.

I feel like I've seen more and more k-swapped S2000s lately.

The F20C and F22C1 are great engines, but they're relatively rare. Would be sad to blow another one up. K-series blocks are a dime a dozen, though.

My favorite build is still the SuperK turbo K24 swapped S2000 with a BMW DCT transmission. I was really hoping that transmission would hold together better than it does, though.

I say K or F. Displacement is displacement. K is the import version of an LS anyway. Lol
I'd buy a bunch now and stash them, before prices go up
