Well good thing there are only like 50 bolts you need to loosen up haha. I had mine on and off 3 times so I feel the pain. I really need to quit being lazy and order a Quickjack. Looks like Costco has a 5000 series combo on sale for $1400... Might as well do it.

@Lumpy Sticks and @kaj

1:55 at Thunderhill stock power. Verus Splitter and ****, Nankang CR-S, KW coilovers. Pretty amazing

Supra continues to impress me.

1:56 in a MANUAL supra with just tires and KW coilovers:

And still 3rd? Damn, cars are getting faster these days ..
Other than the KWs, this is all plan to do. I haven't researched lap times at thunder Hill, but I will now.

I added another video of a Manual supra doing a 1:56 after you replied.

1:58-1:59 was considered very fast for Evos back when I lived in California and frequented Thunderhill. I don't think any non-aero Evo ever broke 2:00. My best in my Evo 10 before I moved was 2:00.1 with heat cycled out NT01's. I was really bummed I couldn't break into the 1:5X's before I moved away.

GT3's and GT4's are mid 1:5X cars stock. Same with ZL1 1LE

Yes. That area used to not be paved. Now it is. You payed for the whole track, use it

During races that run off is coned off.

People also short cut the last corner into the front straight.

From what I read, everywhere, regarding lap times: if I eventually end up with a GT3, I will not be disappointed
Sure would be interesting to no longer have to chase the benchmark car. LOL

Glad you got it on. It was by no means a fun task. Have you taken it around the block yet to see how bad it scrapes or is your car in winter hibernation?
Understandable you'd think that since the French and British don't know how to spell anything

I wonder how a forward-facing car seat for 3+ year olds would fit in the GR Supra.

We use my Tacoma for hauling the kid (soon to be 2 kids) around, but I'd like a second car for grocery getting and running errands when my wife and I go separate places. We both work from home, so commuting isn't a consideration.

I cart my 4 year old around in the Supra all the time. Just got to take his shoes off cause he like kicking the dash. Also, if your kid loves pushing buttons as much as mine does, drive with your arm over the e-brake button....

Unlike you TURNCOATS I'm doubling down on my Evo X MR. Looking for an engine builder locally, and so far, haven't found anything (upstate NY).
Seriously though, if my Evo X Carfax didn't look like I played bumper cars with it (which I didn't just minor dings, but still on the books looks bad) I would sell it for one of these fine BMw...er... Supras!
It is kinda sad logging in and seeing the most action on the forum being a SUPRA thread.
The times are changing.

New toys are fun. Working on stuff that's current is fun. I'm finding it a lot easier than dealing with the Evo right now. At least with the Evo 10, you have a bit more time left.
