Cool Dealerships in NOVA
I just bought a new 04 RS, and I am intending on adding a few minor powere adders (intake, exhaust). My dealer said that they will void my warranty if I do anything to the car, I know by law they cant void it if they cant prove the mod was the problem, but they can make life hard for me. I just wanted to know if there were any dealers out there that will still honor the warranty to those cars that have some mods done to them.
Thanks
Thanks
At least one dcevoclub member has mentioned to me that Sheehy treats him well as far as that goes. If they told you straight up, though, that any mods will void it, then they really mean it. Definitely avoid Stohl-man. Do you have the maintenance pakage with Mitsu?

free va inspections!?! damn, that's a nice to have. one thing about that though is they'll look for the slightest thing wrong so that they can charge $$ to repair and fail your car.
i'll take a shady gas station.

First, the claim that they'll void your warranty is bogus. You seem to know that, so don't let that comment scare you.
The last time I was at Sheehy (buying parts -- my car hasn't seen a stealership in 18 months, since it was 2 months old) I saw an Evo up on a lift with an obviously modified exhaust. Obviously, somebody felt comfortable taking a modified Evo there. I've also heard fairly decent things about Sheehy's service department.
