10 Evos. No customers. How much?

My local dealer has 10 evo's for the past 4 months or so, and has not sold any.
I am wondering if anyone out there has experience of selling would know just how low a dealer would go to get rid of a motor.

Was thinking of arriving out with a big bag of cash at the end of the month, well below invoice to see what happens.
Anyone have an idea as to how low they can go???
Thanks.

In MA.
Very sad sight to see them all just sitting there.
But if the price was right I may be able to free one of them from captivity...........

Sounds like Danvers Mitsu in MA to me. Cash doesn't mean ****, this has allready been discussed to great length. Those guys in Danvers MA will deal, that's where I got mine. Talk to Dave C. tell him Ryan the Bartender sent you. 1 800 597 6380

My dealer has 16 just sitting there......thats all due to the STILL!!! $10k mark-up. You'd think they would learn by now.

Danvers Mitsu has a 3k markup. Buyers strategy, (look dealer square in the face, and laugh saying there's no way we're going to the negotiating table with that 3k markup. I'm not even going to take it into consideration). Worked for me. Don't be scared off by markup.

Invoice is 28,860 w/ a roof and wing...
They could very well could go less than this depending upon holdback etc.

I predicted this 5 months ago when I bought my Evo, I think 04 will be the last year for the Evo unfortunately. The two local dealers around me have Evo's sitting on the lot also...months. Its not going to be a profitable car for mitsubishi, and who knows how well its done to build mitsubishi's "image".

They managed to shoot themselves in the foot when they were all asking really high mark ups. Now nobody wants to even bother with them. I was going to buy a Evo8 but got tired of the BS with the dealerships around me and have decided to just wait until spring and buy an 05 STI (SOA's stupid numbering system) when they come out or to see how many 03 Evos are still sitting around and how much they are asking for them when there are 04s out.
